Free Open Source Software - for media professionals
Read the report of this interesting event.
Isn't it great to see that organisations from different places, different backgrounds for different reasons all seem to find their way to Free Software? Reading the report of this event organized by the European Broadcasting Union, it also seems they got it all right! Quoting: ``Open Source is about the rights to use, study, change and distribute the software as you desire. Of course that does not say you necessarily want to do this for each tool that you use; but nothing will stop you. So if the day comes you need to have a bug fixed or extend the application you are using, you can do it or hire somebody to do it for you.'' Remember that for that last part, we can be at your service. And even after Zeropoint.IT has passed by, there will still be no vendor lock-in. Never.
